Yangon - Kyaing Tong - Yangon

Day 01 Yangon - Kyaing Tong

Arrive in Keng Tung, Myanmar's gateway to the Golden Triangle. Transfer to hotel. Visit Lane Taung Hill for panoramic views over Keng Tung. The town is a treasure trove of traditional architecture with old style Houses and their intricately designed wooden balconies so characteristic of Shan architecture. After visiting a local Shan lacquer ware factory, visit Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, the holiest in King Tung. Overnight in Keng Tung.

Day 02 Kyaing Tong

After breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to explore the many and still very traditional ethnic minority communities of the Golden Triangle area. A 45-minute drive from Keng Tung is Wam Pa the home of the red-clothed Palaung tribe. An easy trek of 15 minutes leads to Hwe Lon, a village of the Akha people. Continue walking to Koum Ma, a Wa tribe village. Stop lunch at Pin Taung Waterfall near a Lahu village. In the afternoon meet with the elusive Ann minority. Return to Keng Tung. Overnight at King Tung.

Day 03 Kyaing Tong

Leave the hotel after breakfast for a walk around Keng Tung Market, the meeting point for major tribe people. Continue to Yan-Gone village and visit a traditional pottery workshop. Continue to Lang a village of the Ann minority and Wan Sai, an Akha community. Afternoon sightseeing take Naung Tong Lake for scenic views. Overnight at King Tung.

Day 04 Kyaing Tong

Leave the hotel after breakfast to visit the Mong Kwan area by 4-wheel drive pick-up trick. Stop at the hill top Hwe Kwai village belonging to the Loi tribe. Observe the daily life of colorfully dressed Li Shaw people and the unique Wan Kwan mud houses. After a picnic lunch watch a traditional Lan Woan dance performance in Loi Lone village with beautiful Khun girls, in full traditional costume. Return to Keng Tung. Overnight at Keng Tung.

Day 05 Kyaing Tong - Yangon

Morning visit to Local Market & other sightseeing. Transfer to airport for Yangon flight.

Day 06 Yangon Departure

After breakfast transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.

Day 02 Yangon - Bagan

Early breakfast, leave for Bagan by morning flight. Check in hotel. Sightseeing at Nyaung Oo market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Htiloninlo Temple, Dhamayangyi Temple, Sulamani Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple & lacquer ware workshop & panoramic sunset view from Shwe San Daw Pagoda. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Bagan - Kanpetlet

Breakfast at hotel. Chin State, a spectacular mountainous area of western Myanmar, has only recently opened up foreign visitors. Begin the adventure by local boat from Bagan and continue by open top jeep to Kanpetlet via Pauk, Kyauk Tu and Saw. Make stops for lunch and a visit to a tobacco factory. The feeling dense scenery with rice fields and traditional villages. Arrive at Kanpetlet - 4560 ft. above sea level, in the late afternoon and explore this Chin village where many of the women still tattoo faces. Continuous another 8km to the forest guesthouse for dinner prepared by the forest rangers. Overnight at the forest guesthouse in basic accommodation with shared facilities.

Day 04 Kanpetlet - Nat Ma Taung National Park - Mount Victoria - Kanpetlet

Starting from Kanpetlet, different excursion to Nat Ma Taung National Park, the beautiful park covers a large area with dense jungle, pine trees at higher levels and oak tree at the second base camp, also an area of great bio-diversity with many rare form of flora and fauna. Mount Victoria, the highest peak in the park, offers superb views of the surrounding area from the top. The second base camp can be reached by jeep and from here it only a two and a half hour trek to the summit. A simple lunch is served at the second base-camp Mount Victoria. Return to the forest guesthouse in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the forest guesthouse.

Day 05 Kanpetlet - Bagan

Leave Kanpetlet by jeep and head back to Bagan taking a different route but again with breath taking views & scenery. Stop for breakfast in a local teashop in Saw after one hours driving. Passing through the beautiful constantly changing landscape. Lunch is on the way in a local restaurant. Arrive back in Bagan in the late afternoon and transfer to hotel.

Day 06 Yangon Departure

After breakfast transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.

Day 03 Mrauk U

Mrauk U was once highly cultured city and lots of trading with Portuguese also Myanmar's legendary lost city it's 15th. century but today the town is more like a slay village. Start to visit Dukkhanthein - a huge fortress like temple with vaulted passages containing interesting stone sculptures the Buddhist, Shitthaung Temple - Mrauk U's most well known monument built in 1535 by 1,000 architects and containing a remarkable collection of 80 thousand Buddha images and relief's, Anndaw Thein, Ordination Hall with its unique stone carvings, Laymyetnha pagoda - the first pagoda erected in Mrauk U in 1430, Koethaing Temple, Pitakataik Library and Laungbanpyauk pagoda. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Mrauk U

Drive to Vesali by jeep, an ancient capital of ( 3 - 8 ) century and visit to the Vesali Payagyi ( large sand / stone image ), Phaya Paw and LowkaManaung Pagoda. Then visit to Thet race and Myo race village, SakyaManaung Pagoda with the giant in kneeling posture, Bandoola monastery ( Sanda Muni ), the Archaeological museum, Let Say lake ( city gate ), JinaManaung Pagoda, Yadana Mannaung and Sakaya Mannaung Pagodas. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Mrauk U - Sittwe

Early morning to enjoy sunrise over the misty hills of Mrauk U from the top of the hill. After breakfast continue sightseeing in Mrauk u with a visit to the market, the ruins of the Royal Palace. Proceed to the jetty and board a chartered boat return to Sittwe. Sittwe, an ancient capital and seaport of Rakhine State the Bay of Bengal. Visit around clock tower, museum and viewpoint & enjoy sunset over the Bengal Bay from View Point Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Sittwe - Yangon

A morning city tour of Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine State, featuring the colorful fish market, the Cultural Museum before the transfer to Sittwe Airport. Arrive Yangon & check in hotel.

Day 07 Yangon Departure

After breakfast transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.

Day 03 Bagan / Min Dat

Early morning Bagan / Kyun Chaung by private boat across the Ayeyarwaddy river. Jeep ( or ) Pick up car will be waiting for your at Kyun Chaung and drive to Min - dat ( 8 hrs ), ( 486 ft ) through by road, sandy streams, sandy road & mountainous roads. Overnight at Min-dat. ( Can ask for hot water for shower to the guard )

Day 04 Min Dat

The trek guide will take you to ethnic groups of the Chin, the Moon people and their culture. Visit to the villages of tattoo faced women. The villages are about 3miles away from Min - dat. Overnight at the Guesthouse.

Day 05 Min Dat

Drive by car from Min Dat down the valley to the famous Chi-Chaung ( Che-creek ). Drive up a the path to Mt . Victoria, stop at Yet-Tha, Ma-she-yaw villages on the way & walk to Aye Village. Visit to hill tribe villages. Return to Mindat. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06 Min Dat - Pakkoku

Return from Mindat to Pakkoku by car ( 9 hrs ). Overnight at Guesthouse

Day 07 Pakkoku - Bagan

Visit Pakkoku market, Paper- Mache, famous Shwegu Ta-Ke ( wood carving ). Take Z-craft back Let-pan-chi-paw and drive to Bagan. Transfer to hotel & overnight in Bagan.

Day 08 Yangon Departure

Day 03 Kalaw - Phaung Taw ( Danu Village ) ( 2.5 hours )

After breakfast, leave hotel from Kalaw with trekking guide and porters for whole day trekking to the South East of Shan mountain ranges, passing through some Pa O, Palaung and Da Nu villages -- Myinn Kut ( Pa O & Danu ) village, Zedi Kone ( Pa O & Danu ), Naung Ye ( Pa O ) village & Phaung Taw ( Danu ). Overnight at Phaung Taw.

Day 04 Phaung Taw - Yasakyi ( Palaung village ) ( 3 - 4 hours. )

Early morning trekking from Paung Taw to Myinemue ( Danu ) village, Kyaung Soe Kone ( Danu village, Tat Poke ( Danu ) village, min Taing Pin ( Danu ), lunch at Myin Twin ( Danu ) village. And then proceed to Taung Myint Gyi ( Palaung ) village, Yasakyi ( Palaung ) village. Palaung is animist tribe considered to be one of the earliest people to set up in Myanmar, Up to now, they have stick to their traditional way life. The most significant element being their long house which several families stayed together, earning a living from the cultivation of seasonal crops and Say Ywat Kyi leaves used by the Burmese home made cigar to wrap the cheroot. Overnight at Yasakyi .

Day 05 Yasakyi - Taung Paw Gyi - Pindaya

After breakfast, early morning trekking to Mount Yasakyi about 7000 ft above sea level, the spacious that offers you panoramic views. Continue to trek Htut Ni, then back to Pindaya & overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Pindaya - Lake Inle

After breakfast visit Pindaya Cave - thousands of Buddha Images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries & Shan Umbrella home industry. Then drive back to Nyaung Shwe then boat ride to hotel in Lake Inle. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Lake Inle - Heho - Yangon

After breakfast The famous sites to see --- floating garden, The floating market, leg rowers, native ways of fishing, traditional weaving industries, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda & jumping cat monastery. Check out hotel & transfer to Heho Airport to leave Yangon. Arrive Yangon & transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, from hotel to meeting point by private coach to trek about 30mins. walks to Lu Pin Village where Danu tribes. Continue to Shan Pin village abt. 30 mins. and then proceed to Pann Lone Village. Another 45 mins. to Linn Pan villag, 30 mins. to Taung Kwe Village and 35mins. again to Nant Thale village. Traditional dinner & overnight at Monastery.

Day 04 Trekking

After breakfast 2nd day trekking to Pao mountainous. 45mins. to Baw Nin Gone village and then 45mins. more for Htun Gone village. Lunch at village. Proceed to Kan Hla Gone village about an hour, Pe Tu Pauk village for two hrs and you will be at the Htee Taing village after 30 mins.. Dinner & overnight at Htee Taing Monastery.

Day 05 Trekking - Inle

After breakfast continue for last day trekking to Lake Inle pass through Pao villages. Trek to Kyauk Su village about 30mins. and another one hour for Ngoak village. On the way to Ngoak village you can taste the panoramic view of Inle Lake. Then one hour down for Taung Che Village where Innthar tribe reside. You will be in Than Taung village ( 45 mins. later ) enthusiastic destination. Lunch at Thann Taung Monastery & walk along the village about 30mins. to Thann Taung Jetty. Guide will take you to hotel & overnight.

Day 06 Inle

Excursion visit in Inle. Visit by boat for it's "leg rower" leg rowing Inthas ( the fisherman stand at the stern of the boat on one leg & warp the other around the oar to propel the boat )., typical floating gardens, local method of fishing, Phaung Daw Oo pagoda & Jumpint cap monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 Inle

Excursion by boat to the western shore of the Inle Lake. . In that area, there are 17 villages built on stilts mostly inhabited by the Intha people. Visit Indain Pagoda & surroundings. Lunch. Afternoon tour include the traditional cheroot making industry, silver smith industry & the weaving village. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 8 Inle - Heho - Yangon

After breakfast check out hotel. Transfer to Heho airport to leave Yangon. Arrive Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon you can visit the old colonial style heart of Yangon city & Shwedagon Pagoda ( sunset ). Overnight at hotel.
