1.1 TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES is a solely owned private company belonging to Mr.Tin A. Kyaw with an abroad base IT oriented office at Room #32, Myaing Hay Wun Housing, Junction (8), Mayangone Tsp., Yangon, MYANMAR. The office is equipped with IT equipments for international marketing & networking in which owner, Tin A. Kyaw & Manager Lynn M. Thatt excel. 1.2 Total working capital in the year 2002 is around USD 150,000. Mr. Lynn M. Thatt as manager runs the show in areas of international affiliations and has in the country agreements contracts, mutual understanding with all accommodation facilities, air, roads, rails and riverine travel agencies.

1.3 This enables Mr. Lynn M. Thatt to accept and arrange schedules to all classes of tourist from those of knap-sack. hippies to counts, Barons etc. who come to visit Myanmar with their own aircraft. This becomes possible because TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES arm in the business extends to all the cities in Myanmar.

1.4 Despite continuous operation in this field for ( 5 ) years we have nothing but complimentary comments from our customers.

2. COMPANY DESCRIPTION

2.1 Myanmar is one country with very low population density. It stretches ( 2090 ) km. north to south & ( 925 ) km. east to west with a land area of ( 676, 557 ) sq.km. roughly the size of UK & France combined. It has a ( 2832 ) km. long coastline on the Indian Ocean. Myanmar is the only country in ASEAN that has white sandy blue water open sea beaches in the south to yearly round snowcapped mountains in the north.

2.2 All international level accommodation facilities, limousine type of inter city transportation can also be arranged. In major cities all international Air bookings can be made. Schedule changes and connecting flights can be made with TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES rending effective liaison services.

2.3 For tourist with interest in Archaeology, Beach type relaxation, quiet and ecologically friendly atmosphere Myanmar offers ideal facilities. The country is 95 % Buddhist and thus it offers good opportunity to study the religious side of tourism as well.

2.4 People are most friendly and polite English as medium of communication is no difficult. Multi lingual tour guides who can speak French, German, Italian and other Scandinavian languages can also be arranged.

3. DETAILED FUNCTION OF TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES

3.1 Management group is mainly center in Yangon using IT facilities round the clock. Permanent staff assisting Mr. Tin A. Kyaw & Mr. Lynn M. Thatt consist of 7 persons. This group handle all detail connected with accepting, arranging, confirming and finalization of all type of tours individual, group or packages.

3.2 The company has got vision that the business will prosper as more people come to know the services of TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES's. We are therefore doing a work on gradual increase of turnover than large profit in one goal.

3.3 We are in no doubt competent & our ( 5 ) yrs. experience is sufficient to enter the business according to the customers' response.

3.4 Company history is as mentioned in Section 1, para 1.1 and para 1.2.

3.5 At the moment, we are not thinking of specialization yet. Irrespective of customer requirement we would compile and do the job systematically until they are happy and satisfied.

3.6 Except for manual staff all of our team can speak fluent English with the level of graduates.

4. ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIP

The company is affiliated to PATA ( Pacific Asia Travel Association ) and JATA ( Japan Association Of Travel Agents ). We are in contact with both travel associations. We mention here recommendations and references TRAVELS MYANMAR SERVICES has up to now.
