Day 01 Yangon Arrival

Arrive Yangon by international flight. Welcome & transfer to hotel. Some highlights of Yangon sightseeing - Sule Pagoda the heart of city, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence monument, photo stop at Karaweik Hall - a royal floating barge, National Museum to see the 8 meters high Golden Lion Throne

& Mandalay Royal Regalia, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, Bogyoke Market with hundreds of stores, the old colonial style city & dating back over 2000 years Shwedagon Pagoda. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Inle

After breakfast transfer to airport to leave for Heho. Arrive Heho & proceed to Pidaya. Visit Pindaya Cave - thousands of Buddha Images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries & Shan Umbrella home industry. Then drive back to Nyaung Shwe then boat ride to hotel in Lake Inle. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Inle

Breakfast. Excursion visit in Lake Inle by boat. The famous sites are typical floating garden, leg rowers, local ways of fishing, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, jumping cat monastery - where small cats are trained to loop jump, the weaving industry in Inpawkhon, the traditional cheroot industry, silver smith

workshop. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Inle - Heho - Mandalay

After breakfast check out hotel & drive to Heho airport leave for Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay International Airport ( at Tada Oo which is an hour drive from Mandalay ). Check in hotel. In the afternoon visit Mahamuni Image, wood / stone carving, bronze casting industries, Zaycho Market, tapestry workshop,

Shwenandaw Kyaung, Kuthodaw Pagoda & sunset from Mandalay Hill. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Innwa - Amarapura - Mandalay

Morning visit to Mingun, 11km upstream on the western bank of Irrawaddy River, 45 mins. cruise can view some of the village life along the river. Famous sites are Huge but Unfinished Pagoda & the world largest ringing Bell. Then continuous visit to Sagaing by car & visit Sagaing Hill. The other sites -- Aung Myay

Bonzan Monastery, Me Nu Oak Kyaung, old watch tower in Innwa & sunset from U Bein wooden bridge of Amarapura. Then drive back to Mandalay. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

Breakfast. Excursion visit to Pyin Oo Lwin ( former British Hill Station Maymyo ) which is 90 mins. up hill drive from Mandalay. Cool climate with panoramic sights are Waterfall, Peik Chin Myaung Cave - gigantic Buddha Statue, Forest Museum, Chinese Jog House, May Myo Zay & 2000 acre Botanical

Garden known as Kandawgyi Garden. Enjoy the beauty of worthy sites. In the evening drive back to Mandalay. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Mandalay - Bagan by boat

Early breakfast & transfer to jetty. About 10 hours cruise down stream Irrawaddy River from Mandalay to Bagan. Check in hotel. Leisure time. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Bagan

Whole day visit in Bagan. First sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market to see traditional Myanmar life. Then the worthy sites to visit are Shwezigon Pagoda - built in ( 1084 - 1113 ), Kyansittha Umin near Nat Hlaung Kyaung, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple - with fine mural painting of Jatakas scenes, Htilominlo - with its

plaster carvings, Ananda - an architectural masterpiece, Thatbyinnyu Temple - highest in Bagan. Continue to Myinkaba village to see Manuha temple - with gigantic Buddha image, Nanpaya temple - an early style with the finest stone carving and Dhamayangyi Temple, now you have seen the most beautiful, the highest & the most massive three temples of Bagan --- Ananda, Thatbyinnyu & Dhamayangyi respectively. Enjoy sun set from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Bagan - Popa - Bagan - Yangon

Visit Mt. Popa, 37 miles from Bagan - where you can explore five forest ecosystems all within one hour trekking if time permits. You can also observe the ways of life of upper Burmans. Visit lacquer ware industries in Bagan too. Transfer to airport to fly Yangon in the evening. Check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Departure Yangon

After breakfast check out hotel & transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
